The theme of this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge is Changing Seasons.
During the last ten days, Sweden has been ruled by snow. Even Göteborg, so close to the sea, normally grey and humid, is now like a fairytale (when we see the sun). Winter is definitely here.

I’m happy you like my pictures. We did have a big – but not too dramatic – snowstorm, yes. Today, sun is visible and we have +4′ C. Weather certainly changes rapidly, but there are at least ten more weeks of winter ahead of us. I guess the conditions are the same in Canada?

Yes, it did! When snow falls, it’s often just a little below zero. Then, the snow is heavy and humid, and it changes the acoustic environment completely. Suddenly, the city is silent.

I like motifs with different sources of light. Windows, streetlights, the moon, the reflecting snow. It’s like a stage.

In the flood of images that daily flows through our eyes it’s really difficult to be unique. Everything is already seen, captured and published. So I’m glad you found my snowy picture appealing.

Yes, I think so too. I often take photos while going somewhere by the tram. I like to catch the very undramatic everyday-moments.
