WPC: Rule of thirds

Miscellaneous

“The Rule of Thirds is a photography concept that puts the subject of the photograph off-center, which usually results in blank space in the rest of the image.”

Yesterday, I visited the opening of an exhibition of architectural photos, originally produced by the Barbican Centre, now at the museum of architecture in Stockholm. I think the first two pictures from the evening fit well into the theme of this week’s WordPress Photo Challenge; Rule of thirds.  The works of London-based photographer Nadav Kander were amazing.

  1. I like the double Rule of Thirds with both the original pictures and then your photos of them and the off-center viewer. I wonder if that could be called the Rule of 2/3s?!
