WP Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern

flowers, Göteborg, Weekly Photo Challenge

It is compulsory at this time of year: Photographing a blossoming cherry tree. While I was taking pictures of this one the other day, I saw at least six other people doing the same. But after a long, dark and cold winter we don’t mind being stereotypes, we are so happy to see the trees exploding with flowers.

This week’s Word Press Photo Challenge is Patterns.

    • The bright color of the petals and the absence of green leaves (while temperature during flowering normally is quite low) makes those trees seem vulnerable – but brave.

    • Perhaps you are right, Niina Maria… earlier I had a big interest in making patterns, mostly digital. I also fancy the islamic patterns very much. A good idea for a rainy day, thank you!
