My motto is “Beautifying the world” (Jag gör världen vackrare). I work as a graphic designer i Göteborg, Sweden.

I walk to my office in the centre of town almost daily, often looking at people, buildings, clouds and birds, and always carrying a small compact camera to capture the more striking impressions. The less beautiful views I try to enhance in Photoshop later, using the brightness, vibrance, layers and other tools.

You can find several hundred pictures here. The majority is from Göteborg, but quite a few from Stockholm – the city where I was born and lived most of my life. I often go there.

Göteborg is the second largest city of Sweden in population (+500 000 inhabitants). A former industrial area, famous for shipping, Volvo cars and the big harbour, nowadays seeking a new identity.  There are lots of things less beautiful to see, but also the river and the shiny tram rails. And a charming, warm atmosphere between people.
